KC Streetcar track nightwork is on tap this week

KC Streetcar track repair work in Downtown will continue this week, Sunday through Thursday, Oct. 10-14, according to the KC Streetcar Authority.

All work will be performed at night only, between 10 p.m.-5 a.m. Work will take place on Main Street between 7th Street and Petticoat, and will conclude in the early morning hours of Friday, Oct. 15. Noise should be minimal with the loudest activity taking place between 10-11:59 p.m.

All work is weather pending so in the event of rain, work will not take place.

During the night work, Main Street will be closed in this area. These closures will be at night only and traffic control will be picked up prior to morning streetcar service. Detours will be posted.
