KC Spirit Playbook planning process to focus on mobility this week

The City Planning and Development Department is leading an update of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, and you are invited to participate in the process this week. Join the KC Spirit Playbook team for the second strategy session on Mobility, a virtual meeting set for 3:30-5:00 p.m. this Thursday, Aug. 26.

At this week’s meeting, the team will continue the discussion of key questions and priorities for Kansas City’s mobility.

Topics of this session will be centered around the theme of “What the City Can Control,” and include: 

  • Streetscapes and Roadway Design Standards
  • Parkways and Boulevards
  • Active Transportation – Transit, Walking, and Biking
  • Safety
  • Equity and Historic Inequities
  • Transportation, Land Use, and Real Estate Development
  • Freight – Air, Rail, Trucks, Curb Use
