Introducing Imani Jackson – Administrative Assistant for the Downtown Council

Hello, I’m Imani Jackson, and I’m so excited to officially introduce myself as the new Administrative Assistant at the Downtown Council of Kansas City.

Born and raised here in KC, I’ve always had a passion for serving the community and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. I’ve spent the last few years working in administrative roles and community spaces, organizing events, and building connections. I love bringing structure to big ideas, and I’m excited to support the DTC’s mission of making Downtown Kansas City a place where everyone can thrive.

Outside of work, I volunteer with my church and am always on the lookout for great local food, fun events, and meaningful conversations.

I am honored to assist the DTC office as they shape the future of downtown. I’m looking forward to learning, growing, and connecting with so many of you in this new role!
