Celebrate Independence Day via virtual concert + The Dish

Virtual 4th of July concert is set for Saturday

Make plans to celebrate Independence Day in Downtown KC on Saturday evening with a virtual concert featuring a true KC original and award-winning Nashville recording artist, Casi Joy.

The event is set for 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday, July 4 with an encore edition of Clocktail Concerts, presented by Bank of America. Union Station, Crown Center, National WWI Museum and Memorial and the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center have joined forces to deliver this Independence Day  gift.

Casi Joy shot to country music stardom by earning a four-chair turn on THE VOICE and garnering instant and ongoing praise by superstar Blake Shelton. From there, she launched a multi-album Nashville career that continues to soar.

Dish will serve up holiday treats on Friday

As you begin a three-day holiday weekend today (Friday), the Downtown Dish will be serving its next scoop on the Downtown food, drink and art scenes at noon Friday via YouTube.
