Disney On Ice to open 8-day run of live shows at T-Mobile Center
This week marks the return of live performances at the T-Mobile Center, as Disney On Ice prepares to open a series of 15 shows over eight days beginning Thursday. The ice extravaganza marks the first live events at the center since the pandemic shut down the Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament last March.
To help ensure T-Mobile Center is prepared to welcome guests, the venue has implemented preventative measures aligned with recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and the Kansas City Health Department as well as ASM Global (click here for more information).
While delivering the same magical experiences guests expect from Disney On Ice, producer Feld Entertainment is introducing Guest Wellness Enhancements to help keep families safe at its live events.
Feld Entertainment is working closely with T-Mobile Center to establish and follow COVID-19 health and safety standards in accordance with all federal, state and local guidelines. Seating capacity will be reduced, per the guidelines from local public health officials, and Pod Seating has been created for family and friend. Full details can be found here.
As for the Dream Big production… the show features favorite Disney friends such as Mickey, Minnie, Miguel, Moana, Elsa, Belle, Genie, and more highlighting all the magic of Disney’s tales through world-class figure skating. Audiences will be transported to exciting worlds where heroes of every kind seek to fulfill their dreams at a live experience families will never forget!
Miguel aspires to be a musician and journeys through the Land of the Dead to unlock his family’s history. Moana and Maui bravely restore the stolen heart of Te Fiti, Anna and Elsa save their kingdom and the Disney Princesses inspire with stories of strength, determination and kindness.
