You are invited – Imagine Downtown KC strategic planning workshop

Make plans now to join us for the second Imagine Downtown KC strategic planning Community Workshop on Tuesday, Dec. 15.  The virtual event is free and open to the public.

The Downtown Council, working in partnership with the City of Kansas City and a robust list of corporate and civic champions, is leading the process to develop a shared vision for sustainable development and economic inclusion in Downtown Kansas City over the next 10 years. The Imagine Downtown KC strategic plan will create a roadmap to guide future growth and investments, including policy guidance and strategies to address community priorities such as economic opportunity, transportation networks, affordable housing, catalytic development projects and quality of life.

The second community workshop for the Imagine Downtown KC process is set for 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday. This interactive event will provide community members and stakeholders with an opportunity to:

  • Learn about the purpose of the strategic plan process and the progress to-date
  • Share input on the Plan Framework, transformative strategies, and catalytic projects for Downtown Kansas City
