Live, outdoor music returns to Downtown venues
Symphony string trio to serenade outdoors on Tuesday
The Kansas City Symphony will feature a string trio performing an evening serenade at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday atop the Central Library parking garage.
The performance is part of a Symphony’s series of free outdoor chamber concerts. Various ensembles will be performing throughout the Kansas City area for 45 minutes to an hour every other Tuesday evening in September and October.
The series begins this Tuesday in Downtown with a string trio – two violins and cello – on the rooftop of the Central Library’s landmark parking garage at 10th & Baltimore. Free parking will be available on the fourth floor of the garage. The serenade will unfold on the fifth floor. Click here to RSVP.
Guests are asked to maintain social distancing and wear masks. Those wishing to sit should bring their own chairs.

Picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs are welcome! Each physical distanced diamond, 10 feet apart, will accommodate up to 4 attendees. Please plan accordingly when making your RSVP; $25 donation per lawn diamond. Gates will open at 6 p.m., and the music begins at 6:30 p.m.
